A sort-of half-up, just with two sections behind my ears pinned back with a claw clip behind my head. It's a new favourite and seems to give me the advantages of up (out of my face and less tangly) and loose (look softer on me and doesn't give me a headache).

Totally perfect for the halfway between Cinnamon Bun and Bee Butt big blob that didn't quite get twisted enough to look lik it was supposed to. I'm leaving it because it feels good, so I'm not trying again because the second try never feels as good as the first try and I'd be futzing with it all day.

(At least that's my "Cinnablob" today.)

Today I left the house with a hair tie thinking I would just french braid it and let it hang but for some reason now I just cant stand my hair hanging any which way. If it isnt properly secured in some way I just feel awkward now. So I braided it when I got to work (let it dry on the drive which will have to stop soon now because of it rubbing the seat now). I just couldnt stand it hanging there so I took a cuticle stick I had in my purse and pinned up the braid with the cuticle stick. Im alone here today so no one will see but at least my hair feels all tucked up and happy now.

Lol. My little (rather big, actually) African hedgie girl, Yoshiko, loves mommy's hair (a lot of hedgies do). I was cuddling her last night and she climbed up on my shoulder, then started chewing on my hair and putting her front paws on my head. The clawing and biting pulled my hair really hard and it hurt like the dickins, lol, but she was so happy that I think I could hear her purring (yes, they can pur :)). It's almost impossible to tell them "no" about anything. Afterward, of course, she anointed.

Currently muddy, with a plastic bag on it and wrapped in a towel. Cassia/henna day.

I learned a new do! I had a few inches of layers cut into my hair a couple weeks ago. The good news is that got rid of the worst of the bleach damage and weird greenish color that resulted from the indigo. I thought I'd get rid of a lot more of the henna than I actually did, but oh well. The bad news is that it's too short to pull back and the only thing I've managed before yesterday was some very, very sad and not very secure pigtails.

But I did this hair do where I part it down the middle and twist the hair, incorporating more until you reach the back and then secure it--I used sparkly claw clips. The layers fell out on the sides so I added a couple more clips. But it looks really cute, and longer than it actually is. My boyfriend even complemented me on it.

I am wearing two cinnamon buns very low on the back of my head, and visible from the front. I just tried out this style for the first time last night, since my Amish hair pins arrived yesterday, and I suspect it may become a favorite.
