In my indecisive little mood this morning I went back and put my hair up in a figure 8 bun held with two sticks. Surprisingly it's exceedingly comfortable right now so score one point right there!

Upside down Dutch braid, with the remaining hair braided and bunned right above it and the Dutch braid-tail wrapped around that bun.

French twist with a Flexi-8.

Regular English braid worn over my left shoulder.

A double looped knot, held with 5 hair pins.

I'm wearing my usual cinnamon-roll-esque bun, held with a single hairstick instead of my usual clips.

Today is the 4th day after washing, so its up in a crown braid (and I wore a base-ball cap over it today at work).

Twisted up in a clip. It started as a half-up do, with my old bangs hanging down. Then I drove so I put them up. Then I worked so it all went up. Then it was hot so it stayed up.

I've had it in two braids held by Mini Maxes for three days. The first day I crossed the braids behind my head and held each end with its Mini Max.

The figure 8 just did not comply with me this morning. Bleh. I forgot something to secure a braid tassel so my hair is up in a slightly off center cinnabun. I'll live with it until later when I've either got my tools to do something else or someone to provide some assistance. :)

Yesterday was wash day, and I left it down all day, though I had a hat on to keep it off my face. However, we went downtown by the river and it was windy, so I had a long detangling session that night.

Today we were going back downtown, so I made a ponytail to stick through the back of my baseball cap. I got bored at home before we left and started making skinny braids out of the ponytail, and would up with 11 braids by the time I ran out of pony. Turns out that many small braids are great in the wind!

I had to work today, and I had my hair in two braids. I looked like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. Actually had a couple of compliments too! woo hoo!

Yesterday: Two moñitos, one behind each ear, secured with Mini Maxes.
Today: Two tightly twisted tails, the tip of each secured to the base of the other with a Mini Max.

Earlier I parted my hair in the middle and started a French braid on each side. I only braided them down to the crown, then joined the two braids together. So it ended up being a half-back Y-shape French braid.
Right now it's in a sleep braid. But I didn't want to take out the earlier braid, so I just used that as one of the three strands.

I have a braid wrapped around my head, held with 2 medium fakkares and one large. I look like the prime minister from Ukraine.

I'm wearing two cinnabuns vertically held with small claw clips. It's holding well, comfortably, and will probably make my hair nice later. They're slightly damp and oiled after all. :)

I wore two high braided buns. They're comfy and holding quite well. I got fumbly when trying to bring the left braid around to the front when I was going to finish braiding the length. Right side I can do fine. Left side sometimes confuses my brain.

I was just messing around with my hair today as I had a day off work. Ended up with a high-ish ponytail which had been split into nine mini braids (I tried to make a nine strand braid out of them but I couldn't keep track of all of them and the pattern on my own).

French braid today! Nothing too exciting because I biked to work and back today so I needed it secure under my helmet.

My hair is in a long braid. Its comfortable and thats how I wear it when I sleep and I will be heading that way very soon.

Mine is dirty and I am having itchy scalp problems (should never have tried a shampoo with dimeticone, what was I thinking?) so folded gently with a bone and wood African Butterfly.

I'm a noob to hairsticks. I couldn't figure them out. I fiddled for a week. I was determined to get hairsticks to work without elastics. Today I succeeded! Yay! The bun isn't perfect, my hair isnt that long, but its a start! Bun with hairsticks only today!!!

It was braided, then bunned, then braided again. Just your standard 3-strand braid. Nice and simple.

I'm wearing my hair in a twisted chopstick bun that I've been favoring a lot these days. It's a bit messy since I exercised in it.

I'm not sure it has a name. I braided my hair in two braids down the sides, decided it was in the way, pulled the braids to the back of my head and twisted them up into a twist of some kind, then tucked it under somewhat like a french twist and secured it with a plastic clip.

It's surprisingly comfortable.

My hair's in a very, very messy, poorly crafted, lopsided Infinity Bun that is right now going to be reconstructed because now it's wobbling! :p

Braid with no pony bands to hold it. Although my hair hasn't grown longer over the last five or six years, it has thickened as a result of not brushing and relying on finger combing only. That makes a braid, although not spectacular, a better option than before.

Parted in the middle, with a French braid on each side. I stopped picking up hair once I got to the back of my head, but continued braiding (like a normal English braid). Then I divided the loose hair into 3 parts and I added the braids to the outer strands. I braided that too and made a bun out of it.

Today's a Gibson Tuck with the sparkle-bright butterfly barrette (and a couple of small hair scroos) keeping it in place. I love this style, but it's wild, having washed my hair last night...

Try what I do on days like this. Braid it in two braids behind the ears. That covers the carotids, but lets air past them, so you keep cool. Also you can wet it.

I generally wear it up to church, so I crossed the two braids behind my head.

It was in bun for the day held with 2 hairscroos, now it is freshly washed and in a Dutch braid.

It is now down, and I will probably be lazy and skip the pre-sleep braid (which I have done entirely too much lately, I just forget about it, and have the matting to show for it.)

Pigtails! It is very fluffy after a deep treatment last night, and this restrains it without needing a gazillion bobby pins. :D

Washed it last night, slept in a sleep cap. I had cap head this morning so I side parted it and pulled it up on each side with a comb, and put the back into a low ponytail. It looks a little forties inspired, but not as "swoopy" on the pulled up parts.:)

A French Twist, except a small "tail" was poking out of the top, so I just smoothed the tail out to a decent curl and left it. Secured with a Ketylo stick, waterproof 'cause of rain.

Still in Belgian braids; it's been above 35 the past few days, which normally doesn't happen until a few weeks into summer. They're getting fuzzy. Tomorrow I may redo the braids or do something else, depending on the weather and how I feel.

Well, I was going to opt for a French braid. Then I realized that I had no clue how to do one. After an hour of struggling, I sprayed my hair with water, and ran coconut oil from the ends to the roots and pulled it in a low ponytail and braided it. Now I look like Lara Croft and I'm fine with it. I have no patience today :brickwall:
