It was down but the curls are bit wild today, so now it is a half up bun held by my Samhain stick from Nightblooming (wood with a lovely fall leaf topper). I did leave a few tendrils down in the front.

What I think of as a "cheater" French braid. Starts as a half-up (well, more like a third-up), then all of the length gets braided together. I was in a hurry this morning and couldn't take the time to be coordinated enough to do a real French braid, especially since I just figured out how to do one. I got a compliment that I looked pretty this morning, though, so this seems like a good style anyway!

Two braids. My go-to style for lazy days and days that I run out of time in the morning.

I had mine in a low ponytail, but my elastic broke and I had no replacement readily available, so it ended up down for the rest of the day.

Instead of my usual cinnamon bun with a stick, I went for a chinese bun. It was a pretty exciting change for me.

A regular braid, but with 2 very large strands and 1 very small strand. It gives an interesting effect.

nautilus bun, again, i just find it so comfortable these days, i just alternate this one and the knot bun

In some scruffy thing that involved me wrapping my hair round a stick a couple of times then reversing the stick thru my hair. Seems like I need a long stick when I'm winding my hair round it but once its fastened to my head it seems to stick out loads. might have to mess with other styles.

This is my 2nd learnt way of fastening my hair up witha stick. Yay.

I put my hair in a braid but it decided to ben at some really weird angle. So I've folded the braid in half and clipped it at the top. I should think to wear it this way mroe often - I like it.

Yesterday I partially made two braids, then finished them with a bun. I just finished the braids.

A knot bun with a silver Ficcare and topped with a blue GoG scarf. It was hideously dirty and the scarf hid the worst part perfectly.:D

I just washed it and now it is drying in a burgundy cotton snood. When I go to bed, I will French braid it and will have pretty braid waves tomorrow!

I washed my hair today after a night out on the town. I let it airdry and put it up in a messy updo with a rhinestone-ficcare. :)

A cinnabun that I left the 'forelock' out of. Secured, then wrapped the front section around that. To get a bit of lift at the front of my noggin. Held w 2 fakkares. The silver w cut-outs looking ones.

Herringbone braids then rope braids and now down. I have trouble keeping it in one style.

Orchid bun again and it will be in a single english braid later on for sports.

I used side combs on the sides so its not straight back, and then braided it into a bun. Used small hair pins to secure it.

Down and mildly bun-wavy. I left my hair box at home... 10 hours away. :wail:

I gather all the hair into a ponytail and then start twisting. When I've made one coil (normally slightly less than, actually, since that holds the layers better), I pass the scrunchie over and hold it on my other wrist. Then I pick up the rest of the length and twist that round underneath the first coil. When I'm out of hair, I put the scrunchie over again.

Today's style? French braid for school, but now a kind of cinnamon bun/flipped bun/cheat's figure 8, dripping wet, held with one plastic hairstick and a pencil :rolleyes: So glamorous!

I've got mine up and down alternatley. When my hair is up, its in a standard pony tail, when it's down its with a side parting currently.

Very loose single braid. There´s a major headache (I wish!) or migraine (oh no!) building up. Wearing a braid is the safest way to survive the next hours without torturing my skullcap.
